Aroma Power
We offer the following rebuilt barrels:
Rum Martinique: No additives, no sugar – only naturally grown sugar cane, as well as fresh spring water are the basis of a genuine “Rhum Agricole”.
Rum Jamaica: The climate in Jamaica is ideal for the cultivation of sugar cane, which forms the basis of every rum. Jamaican rum is usually very strong and spicy in flavour and therefore easy to distinguish from rums from other countries.
Bourbon: Various bourbons such as Jim Beam, Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace, Woodford, Jack Daniel’s and many more. Each barrel shows its own bourbon style. Full of caramel, baking aromas and dusty grain, hot and “oaky”, vanilla and nutty flavours.
Islay Whisky: Islay single malt whiskies are more aromatic than any other malt whisky. They tend to be very dry and peaty. But behind the smoke are mossy scents and spices.
Cognac: Highly aromatic, the originals very often come from the great traditional houses in the Charentes around the city of Cognac and the wine-growing regions of Grand Champagne & Fin de Champagne.
Sherry: In terms of aroma, an Oloroso is dark and strong, basically dry, amber to mahogany in colour with a fragrant nutty aroma.
Red wine: Red wine barrels, freshly emptied from the Bordeaux and St. Emilion region in the southwest of France.
