Liebig barrel

The Liebig barrel is also called Liebig’s barrel or minimum barrel.
The deco barrel consists of different barrel staves and can only be filled up to the shortest stave.

The chemist Justus von Liebig, who publicised the barrel, used it to illustrate that an organism can only develop as far as the scarcest element allows.

The barrel is made of new staves. The staves are additionally glued, sanded and shortened to the different heights and provided with a total of 38 laser brandings (inside and outside).
