The cylindrical barrel body is made of dried and glued oak staves. One long side of the cylinder is straightened so that it connects with the wall and fits directly to the connections provided on site. The upper opening is fitted with an oak tabletop in which a copper sink is embedded.
The 225 l first choice decorative oak barrel is first dried. Then we separate the barrel lengthwise. We close and stabilise the opening at the back of this space-saving barrel with a fitted wooden plate.
Barrel lid as a shield – made from a used 300 l – 350 l cognac or brandy barrel.
The Liebig barrel is also called Liebig’s barrel or minimum barrel. The deco barrel consists of different barrel staves and can only be filled up to the shortest stave.
Large display produced by order of the customer – barrel cut open all around with shelves.
A barrel of approx. 200 l is cut open diagonally from top to bottom. . A special exterior treatment of the barrel wood with white lacquer (white limed look, “shabby”) completes the exclusive look of the display.
