Especially with large barrels that have served well for several years, a thorough and conscientious restoration is important in order to continue working with the barrel for many years to come. For an interesting series of tests by a distillery from North Rhine-Westphalia, our coopers built 50-litre barrels from special woods such as cherry, pear, service tree and apple.

Produced from a used 225 l oak barrique barrel or from a new 225 l chestnut barrel.
Large display produced by order of the customer – barrel cut open all around with shelves.
A barrel of approx. 200 l is cut open diagonally from top to bottom. . A special exterior treatment of the barrel wood with white lacquer (white limed look, “shabby”) completes the exclusive look of the display.
Produced from a 300 l oak barrique in jetsam optics stained and varnished with clear varnish.
This imposing shelving unit, built from genuine large barrels, is eye-catching but not just because of its size. The polished staves from used barrels are not only gorgeous to touch but also add that certain something to any room.
Standing table produced by customer order from a used, cleaned and sanded 225 l barrique barrel with a table top made of solid wood.
The beautiful, tapered decorative barrel is produced from seasoned Palatinate oak.

The cylindrical barrel body is made of dried and glued oak staves. One long side of the cylinder is straightened so that it connects with the wall and fits directly to the connections provided on site. The upper opening is fitted with an oak tabletop in which a copper sink is embedded.
The 225 l first choice decorative oak barrel is first dried. Then we separate the barrel lengthwise. We close and stabilise the opening at the back of this space-saving barrel with a fitted wooden plate.
The barrel table was built according to customer specifications from a 300 l wooden barrel and a thermobox was integrated to fit perfectly.

Our customer sent us these pictures of former gin barrels made from mulberry wood, now repurposed as decorative elements.

For a Swiss customer, we built the wine rack from 350 l decorative oak barrels.

The Liebig barrel is also called Liebig’s barrel or minimum barrel. The deco barrel consists of different barrel staves and can only be filled up to the shortest stave.
I ordered the shelf barrel “single malt” with door and had some questions and extra requests about the product in advance. The email contact with the staff was always friendly and helpful. The barrel itself is as shown in the pictures. My wishes were implemented as agreed. The processing of the barrel or cabinet is very high quality and absolutely worth the money. It is a real eye-catcher and excellent storage for my whiskey collection.

Laser branding, an asset to the eye and gives the barrel the right touch. Picked in the morning and returned home with the barrel at 3pm. It doesn’t get any better than that.
